[11:21]<+Mulreay> Whaadap ma nerdizzles
[11:22]<+camerongray> lol
[11:23]<@BC_Programming> dawg
[11:23]<@BC_Programming> minecraft updated for some reason but the version is the same
[11:23]<+Mulreay> k
[11:23]<@BC_Programming> so it just meant like 3 hours of me trying to get the damned mods installed again
[11:23]<+Mulreay> not played it for 2 days... been resting
[11:23]<@BC_Programming> heh
[11:23]<@BC_Programming> I thought you said minecraft was a "relaxing" game? :P
[11:24]<@BC_Programming> I almost killed myself with a sapling and bone meal
[11:24]<+Mulreay> heh, not been doing anything at all, just me the laptop and some films, oh and every episodeof 'Fawlty towers'
[11:24]<+Mulreay> episode*
[11:24]<@BC_Programming> cool
[11:25]<+Mulreay> how did you nearly kill yourself?
[11:25]<@BC_Programming> heh well when you use bonemeal on a sapling or growing wheat it grows instantly
[11:25]<@BC_Programming> so basically a full grown tree appeared
[11:25]<+Mulreay> heh
[11:25]<@BC_Programming> but I was inside it's leaves so I was getting hurt heh
[11:25]<+Mulreay> heh
[11:26]<+Mulreay> ahh yes mine is 1.2.01
[11:26]<@BC_Programming> Beta 1.2_01?
[11:27]<@BC_Programming> don't know why he has an underscore in there
[11:27]<@BC_Programming> the weird thing is that's the version I had before... I think it just updates every night at 12 or something
[11:27]<+Mulreay> ahh
[11:27]<+Mulreay> He has been twittering today saying that the servers are really slow but there working on them
[11:28]<+Mulreay> well there down right now
[11:28]<@BC_Programming> yeah I noticed that, but It doesn't really matter for me since I can just play offline
[11:28]<+Mulreay> yeah me too
[11:28]<+Mulreay> well at the moment I just don't play online
[11:28]<@BC_Programming> I started a new world because the one I had with the NES sprites and the glass fort started to bug out
[11:29]<+Mulreay> damn
[11:29]<@BC_Programming> I could probably fix it but I just sort of lost interest at that point
[11:29]<@BC_Programming> It was going at about the speed yours does when you record, heh
[11:31]<+Mulreay> heh
[11:31]<@BC_Programming> I keep loading it by accident, too
[11:32]<@BC_Programming> I died at some point and then it froze when I was respawning
[11:32]<@BC_Programming> last time that happened I had to use the editor program to give myself full life and edit some other stuff, it was a pain
[11:32]<+Mulreay> whoch editor programme?
[11:32]<+Mulreay> program* need to stop doing that
[11:32]<@BC_Programming> loleditor I believe
[11:33]<@BC_Programming> but I think I had to use MCEdit or something or things were still glitchy since half the game still thought I was dead
[11:33]<+Mulreay> heh
[11:34]<@BC_Programming> yeah when I first got that prog I was like awesome and gave myself shiteloads of diamond blocks and gold blocks and stuff
[11:35]<+Mulreay> heh
[11:35]<+Mulreay> trying not to cheat myself, but my ambitions are growing and resources are still scarce
[11:35]<@BC_Programming> but it got old rather fast
[11:35]<@BC_Programming> yeah the inventory editors are great for building big stuff a lot faster
[11:35]<@BC_Programming> but if you actually mine all the materials... I think it's feels more like an accomplishment
[11:36]<+Mulreay> yeah definately
[11:36]<@BC_Programming> more an investment of time, really... actually, I've found horizontal strip-mining near the bedrock to be a great way to get all sorts of riches, my new file is cheat-free and I have like 14 diamond
[11:40]<+Mulreay> cool
[11:40]<@BC_Programming> the animals mod adds a shiteload of dangerous mobs
[11:40]<@BC_Programming> freaking werewolves and ogres
[11:41]<@BC_Programming> the ogres drop some cool shite though so I like to go out and kill them
[11:41]<@BC_Programming> they drop fire... which I think can be crafted into chainmail armor for some reason
[11:41]<+Mulreay> heh cool
[11:42]<@BC_Programming> but one of then literally ripped down the front of my house and let himself inside
[11:43]<@BC_Programming> when I next make a vid of MC they'll probably be in there somewhere
[11:43]<+Mulreay> haha how did it do that
[11:43]<@BC_Programming> well one of it's attacks like breaks all the blocks in front of it
[11:43]<+Mulreay> cool
[11:43]<+Mulreay> or not
[11:43]<@BC_Programming> best description is a smash
[11:44]<@BC_Programming> thankfully it doesn't work on cobblestone so I've fortified myself in a mountainside
[11:45]<@BC_Programming> there was one time I died on an excursion and when I went to get my stuff I was being chased by ogres lions and werewolves, not to mention creepers and skeletons and zombies
[11:45]<@BC_Programming> it was a proper mob mob I suppose
[11:46]<@BC_Programming> playing on hard probably didn't help my situation either
[11:47]<+Mulreay> indeed
[11:49]<@BC_Programming> I managed to recover my goods however and get back to my house safely
[11:49]<@BC_Programming> and then day broke and I gallavanted around killing cows, pigs, boars, chickens, ducks, foxes, bears, and human-form werewolves
[11:50]<@BC_Programming> seems ogres still appear in the daytime occasionally as well
[11:51]<+Mulreay> sounds fun
[11:52] * Tux2 (Tux2@E33E54F6.8F502EB6.39CF04D1.IP) has joined #glitchpc
[12:12]<@BC_Programming> hmm I appear to have made the mysterious "lose lives for no god damned reason" bug a lot more common in BASeBlock
[12:13]<@BC_Programming> ironically this is a good thing because now I can reproduce it easier so I can figure out why the flip it's happening
[12:13]<+Mulreay> yeah
[12:13]<@BC_Programming> it's added to my ever growing TODO list heh
[12:14]<Tux2> lol!
[12:14]<@BC_Programming> actually I think half of these "TODO" I've actually done
[12:15]<@BC_Programming> from what I can tell it is somehow related to "temporary" balls, the ones that die when they hit the edge of the screen
[12:15]<Tux2> Ah...
[12:15]<Tux2> I just tracked down a bug in my newest website...
[12:16]<@BC_Programming> good
[12:16]<Tux2> lol, yeah, I just have to fix it now...

[13:20]<@BC_Programming> holy shite, this blog post is well over 3000 words
[13:20]<+Mulreay> heh cool
[13:21]<@BC_Programming> about game controllers
[13:47]<+Mulreay> Well that's AC Brotherhood finished... guess it's back to new vegas
[13:48]<+Mulreay> until my PS3 packs in again... not looking forward to that
[13:49]<@BC_Programming> yeah that's one of the issues with the newest generation of consoles it seems
[13:49]<@BC_Programming> they take the shite relatively fast
[13:49]<+Mulreay> yep, the slimline apparently has solved the over-heating problem... 'Thay' say
[13:49]<+Mulreay> 'They'*
[13:49]<@BC_Programming> didn't even know they had a slimline of the PS3 yet
[13:49]<@BC_Programming> thought it was just the PS2
[13:50]<+Mulreay> yeah been out for quite some time
[13:50]<@BC_Programming> heh then again I don't take an active role in caring about new console developments, heh
[13:50]<+Mulreay> My version is what is loving called 'fat' version
[13:50]<@BC_Programming> yeah my brothers gone through three of the originals I think
[13:51]<+Mulreay> I may just take the lid off the damn thing.. and leave it open
[13:55]<+Mulreay> oh I finished 'Masters of Doom' by the way. Great book thatnks for the heads up
[13:55]<+Mulreay> damn my typos
[13:56]<@BC_Programming> np damn fine book it is
[13:59]<@BC_Programming> lol
[13:59]<@BC_Programming> that was stupid
[13:59]<@BC_Programming> I put buttons in front of an iron door on both sides so I could just walk through right
[13:59]<@BC_Programming> well I guess I forgot that creepers and wolves and shite can activate buttons and they just let themselves in
[13:59]<+Mulreay> heh
[14:00]<@BC_Programming> sorry pressure plates, not buttons
[14:00]<@BC_Programming> I was just minding my own business digging out a farm inside my garden
[14:00]<@BC_Programming> and I guess a wolf ripped my head off from behind because I just died
[14:00]<@BC_Programming> heh
[14:00]<+Mulreay> lol
[14:09]<+Mulreay> actually there are still a load of side-quests etc to do, so will stick around in Roma for the time being

[16:15]<@BC_Programming> wow there are a lot of pussies that play minecraft
[16:16]<@BC_Programming> somebody started a rumour it seems a few years ago about some "herobrine" easter egg nonsense
[16:16]<@BC_Programming> apparently the default player skin with white eyes as a Mob makes people piss themselves
[16:17]<@BC_Programming> I'd run up to it to see what it drops when I cut him open...
[16:17]<@BC_Programming> kind of like the videos where people see a skeleton and run away
[16:17]<@BC_Programming> pansies
[16:19]<+Mulreay> heh
[16:19]<+Mulreay> I keep losing 'Fred' he'slike a set of fecking car keys
[16:19]<@BC_Programming> haha this is so similar to the N64 Smash brothers nonsense
[16:19]<@BC_Programming> "oh ya! I unlocked sonic/tails/other completely uncredited character from a random franchise"
[16:20]<@BC_Programming> despite, you know, then NOT fecking existing
[16:20]<@BC_Programming> christ I hate rumours like that
[16:20]<+Mulreay> heh
[16:20]<@BC_Programming> I mean, not existing in the game of course
[16:21]<@BC_Programming> cache this ol thread if you want to read stupid people heh http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=31677
[16:21]<+Mulreay> looking
[16:23]<+Mulreay> lol what a douche
[16:24]<+pottsi> ohai
[16:24]<+Mulreay> not you pottsi :/
[16:24]<@BC_Programming> heh
[16:24]<@BC_Programming> that was hilarious timing there
[16:24]<+Mulreay> indeed :)
[16:25]<@BC_Programming> I just love how people beleive it, bunch of crybaby pussies "OMG I'm not playing minecraft at home by myself there are ghosts!"
[16:25]<+pottsi> xD
[16:25]<+Mulreay> Yeah, like a piece of software is haunted.. like wtf
[16:26]<@BC_Programming> and then some of them come back and make stuff up
[16:26]<@BC_Programming> "OMG I saw him! and there is a brine.jar file in minecraft.jar!"
[16:26]<+Mulreay> heh
[16:26]<@BC_Programming> because apparently java executed jar files directly rather then opening the jar file and executing the .class files
[16:27]<@BC_Programming> lol: http://i.min.us/iEpXo.png
[16:27]<+Mulreay> hahaha
[16:27]<@BC_Programming> omg that is so scary
[16:27]<@BC_Programming> I guess
[16:28]<@BC_Programming> a whole bunch of white skinned geordi laforges without their visor
[16:28]<+Mulreay> lol
[16:29]<@BC_Programming> that's a rather apt description come to think of it
[16:29]<+Mulreay> nice example :)
[16:29]<@BC_Programming> Watch out! he has no pupils!
[16:29]<@BC_Programming> OMG! that is scary!
[16:31]<+Mulreay> heh
[16:35]<@BC_Programming> hmm may edit my player skin now
[16:37]<+Mulreay> I can't get an editor to work so that's me out
[16:39]<@BC_Programming> skin editor?
[16:39]<@BC_Programming> or inventory editor
[16:39]<+Mulreay> inv
[16:40]<@BC_Programming> I usually use loleditor... it doesn't have all the items/blocks from the latest update but it works for most things
[16:40]<+Mulreay> k
[16:43]<+Mulreay> will give it a go
[16:43]<@BC_Programming> good luck
[16:43]<+Mulreay> thanks I may need lots of it
[16:54]<+Mulreay> Yep that worked majic
[16:54]<+Mulreay> cheers
[16:54]<@BC_Programming> cool
[16:54]<+Mulreay> I went a little over the top though when I was testing
[16:54]<@BC_Programming> you can't give yourself bones or any of the newer stuff, I don't think
[16:54]<@BC_Programming> well you <can> but you have to directly enter the right ID
[16:55]<+Mulreay> ahh ok
[16:55]<@BC_Programming> and you can change the number of items you already have; they just show up as an ID number rather then an icon
[16:55]<+Mulreay> cool
[17:07]<+Mulreay> ohhh the fun I'm, having with this
[17:07]<@BC_Programming> heh
[17:07]<@BC_Programming> build giant castles out of diamond blocks and obsidian
[17:07]<+Mulreay> heh yeah
[17:08]<+Mulreay> will keep most of the big stuff away from my original house and have a seperate play ares
[17:08]<+Mulreay> area*
[17:08]<+Mulreay> Just having a small bonfire... gonna build a massive one in a minute, just testing it
[17:08]<@BC_Programming> or you could use a new world altogether
[17:09]<+Mulreay> Yeah I've grown attached to this one and I will tweak some bits here and there with better product
[17:14]<@BC_Programming> heh I used note blocks to make a door bell
[17:14]<+Mulreay> awesome
[17:17]<+Mulreay> time to break the mouse out, hard as hell on a touchpad
[17:39] * Tux2 (Tux2@E33E54F6.8F502EB6.39CF04D1.IP) has joined #glitchpc

[23:55]<@BC_Programming> well there goes that entire Minecraft world
[23:55]<+Mulreay> what happened?
[23:56]<@BC_Programming> well, I had my nice castle on a mountain
[23:56]<@BC_Programming> but at some point every time I stepped across a very particular "line" it would lag
[23:56]<@BC_Programming> I could move back- everything would be jolly
[23:56]<@BC_Programming> did some testing to discover exactly what chunks to delete
[23:56]<@BC_Programming> but then my castle was gone... so, I switched it around a bit and managed to keep the castle
[23:56]<@BC_Programming> and all was well
[23:57]<@BC_Programming> until I went to return back to my base to find that it was now exactly as it was when I first started then world
[23:57]<@BC_Programming> so I said feck it and deleted it and started anew
[23:57]<+Mulreay> damn
[23:57]<@BC_Programming> I've already found diamonds in the new one but it's still a pain... I'm thinking it's probably one of the mods though
[23:58]<@BC_Programming> but they are so awesome I don't wanna remove em :P
[23:58]<+Mulreay> risk factor
[23:58]<@BC_Programming> I'll see if it happens again, if it does I'll just remove it and hopefully the problem will go away
[23:58]<@BC_Programming> it's probably not the more creatures mod, though, since I turned it to peaceful and it still happened
[23:58]<+Mulreay> yeah
[23:59]<@BC_Programming> probably the fancy lighting mod, if anything
